TideLock™ Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TideLock™ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the App

TideLock is a fishing intelligence platform providing tools for catch logging, spot management, AI predictions, crew coordination, charters, tournaments, and a marketplace. You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable fishing regulations.
• Not attempt to interfere with, hack, or disrupt the App or its servers.
• Not use the App to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content.
• Not impersonate other users or create fake accounts.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, catch logs, spot data). By submitting content, you grant TideLock a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content within the App. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you post.

5. Marketplace & Transactions

TideLock facilitates listings between buyers and sellers but is not a party to any transaction. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, or the accuracy of listings. Users transact at their own risk.

6. AI Features & Accuracy

AI predictions, catch scores, and fishing recommendations are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose. Always follow local fishing regulations and exercise personal judgment on the water.

7. Safety Features

TideLock's safety and SOS features are supplementary tools and should not be relied upon as your sole means of emergency communication. Always carry appropriate safety equipment and follow maritime regulations.

8. Intellectual Property

The TideLock name, logo, and all original content within the App are the property of TideLock™. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TideLock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
